If your ever up in Ballina for the day make sure you call into the Cherry Street Bowls Club. The restaurant is a must visit which is open Tuesdays to Sundays, at noon there is an all-you-eat-smorgasbord and only costs $11.00 (members) $12.50 (visitors).
